Fugro Advances Bathymetric Lidar Mapping Capabilities

Fugro is introducing a new bathymetric lidar system that delivers industry-leading depth penetration and point densities for nearshore and coastal mapping. MAN’s Subsea Compressors Reach Field Proven Status

 Both subsea compression trains at Statoil’s Åsgard field have achieved more than 25,000 operation hours with an availability close to 100 percent.    The world’s first subsea gas compression facility features two MAN Diesel & Turbo HOFIM motor-compressor units.   The Åsgard subsea compression system has officially reached the highest Technology Readiness Level (TRL) 7 with both trains surpassing 10,000 operating hours. OceanServer Orders 10 DVLs from Teledyne RDI

Teledyne RD Instruments (TRDI) has received an order for 10 custom-designed Explorer Doppler Velocity Logs (DVLs) to provide precision navigation and current profiling capability on board OceanServer Technology’s Iver3-580 Autonomous Underwater Vehicles (AUVs). These vehicles are designed for customers and applications which include the U.S. Navy Fleet Survey Team for littoral data collection to support the Warfighter's needs, the Canadian Government for Advanced Mine-Counter-Measures Research, several universities for various research programs, and commercial survey providers doing coastal

TRDI Provides Navigation on OceanServer AUVs

Teledyne RD Instruments’ (TRDI) has received an order for 10 custom-designed Explorer Doppler Velocity Logs (DVLs) to provide precision navigation and current profiling onboard OceanServer Technology’s Iver3-580 Autonomous Underwater Vehicles (AUVs).    The DVLs will be installed onboard vehicles designed for customers and applications which include: the U. S. Navy for mine clearance operations, several universities for various research programs, and commercial companies for coastal engineering projects.
